Setting up Blogengine.net

Good day reader(s), now that I have the blog up and running, I need to learn a couple of things to maintain it correctly, but I must admit, it wasn't hard to begin with.

The download I first made about a week ago was a breeze, just got all the code from the repository on codeplex.com. From there is was just a matter of unzipping it to a folder as instructed on the site, and running it in VS 2005.

I just chose my favourite theme, added a twist of Middle Eastern Culture to the MarketPlace 1.0 theme, which is beautifully built, my thanks go out to the creators of BlogEngine.Net and to  Adam Zastawski for his gret job adapting it to BEN.

From that point on, it was a breeze, I just copied the site to my hosting service discountasp.net, assigned the folder of blog as an application root, and Voi-la! It was really that simple.

Thanx for dropping by.

Salam
